WHAT MAKES A DASHBLANKET™ A DASHBLANKET™?

The material we use was selected to provide maximum protection from direct Ultra-Violet (UV) rays while still being easy-to-use, long-lasting and cleanable. Every DashBlanket™ is made from a high-durability vinyl that wears like leather. In fact, the top surface actually resembles leather. The underside, however, is a very soft fleece backing.

As a compromise between low heat absorption and minimum need for cleaning, the standard DashBlanket™ is Light Grey in color. Also, we are currently offering the DashBlanket™ in seven other custom colors (please scroll down), but remember that light colors help keep the dash pad and steering wheel cooler than dark colors. Be advised that a White DashBlanket™ is most reflective but any dust build-up will be more noticeable.

Please note that the material colors may differ slightly from the colors you see on your screen. This is due to color reproduction variability that is inherent in computer equipment. You may order a sample of the material used to make a DashBlanket™ in “Light Grey” (the standard DashBlanket™ color) from us for $5 postage-paid to any continental-US or Canadian address.
